SME Leadership Development Forum, Niseko, Japan

SME Leadership Development Forum, Niseko, Japan, March 7 to 11, 2016

Spend 5 mornings (that's when the powder is best) skiing in small groups with our experienced guides, all of them experienced managing directors of various SME's. Then join us in the classroom for 5 afternoons hard work on your business and leadership skills. We will celebrate with three formal dinners in different restaurants in Niseko. Some local SME directors will join us to speak about their businesses and leadership lessons.

Topics covered will be...

Your role and responsibilities as a CEO/MD/GM/CFO

Developing your leadership skills...setting some improvement goals using our leadership checklists

Improving your business governance structures to improve implementation of planned actions and accountability

Building and leading a high performance team

Evolving the effectiveness of your digital marketing

Creating a succession plan so your business can perform without you

Here's some comments from a couple of last year's attendees...

"The interaction with other MD's was fantastic...I learnt a lot about my leadership strengths and blind spots that need improvements. The skiing in small groups allowed us to practice some of the leadership skills discussed in the classroom sessions...and the dinners were memorable!!!" Stephen Noble, MD, SJN Chartered Accountants, Adelaide, South Australia.

"Being a better leader involves constant learning and listening with your team. Skiing in new conditions with a small group was a mirror for all of us. Discussions on our businesses that followed was stimulating too. All in all, a great week." Terry Donnelley, MD, CLL civil engineering contractors, Auckland, NZ.
